Bella Hadid Demonstrates How to Ace that French Girl Style

There’s a beret revival in full swing, and Bella Hadid is at the forefront of it. The ubiquitous chapeau made its resurgence on Maria Grazia Chiuri‘s Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 runways for Dior, so it was only fitting that the half-Palestinian model chose to wear it for the prestigious French maison’s London party on Tuesday night. Never one to shy away from a bold fashion statement, the 21-year-old model tucked her chocolate lengths under a veiled iteration of the head-turning accessory. The model arrived to the Dior Beauty Backstage launch sporting a black vest and sheer, tulle skirt, diamond drop earrings, and a pair of blacked-out sunnies that completed the quintessentially Parisian look.

The beret has seemingly become a cool girl calling card for the model. Just days before the event, the TAG Heuer, ambassador, who was in Monaco for the Grand Prix, was photographed in a yacht wearing a yellow, knitted version of the headwear staple. But Hadid doesn’t only reserve the hat for her travel wardrobe. She’s been previously photographed wearing the beret stateside, lest we forget her favorite leather number by Eugenia Kim, which she occasionally sports in New York.
