There’s no stopping Dorra Zarrouk when it comes to delivering show-stopping red carpet looks one after another. The Tunisian actress, who recently turned heads in a red Zuhair Murad gown at the inaugural Ball of Arabia last week, recently attended the second edition of the Beirut Golden Awards in Zaitunay Bay, to receive an honor for her influence on Arab cinema. For the occasion, the Mawlana actress stunned in a dazzling creation from Lebanese couturier Rami Kadi that featured delicate checkered embellishments and an Ostrich-feather-adorned, aluminum train. She accessorized the look with black, strappy sandals and a matching clutch.

Indeed, when it comes to dressing for red carpet events, the star makes it a point to champion regional designer and tends to gravitate towards established and emerging homegrown talent. In recent weeks, she’s championed Zuhair Murad at the 2018 Cairo International Film Festival, Laith Maalouf at the 2018 Arab Cinema Awards, and Georges Hobeika at the 2018 El Gouna Film Festival. “Since the start of my career, I have always been inclined to support Arab designers and talent,” she opened up to Vogue.me earlier this year. “I have helped promote a lot of Arab designers in the region as I was the first to wear their pieces. As a result, now they dress a lot of celebrities and have huge exposure all over the Arab world. It makes me proud to feel that I supported local talent.”
