A fan of eye-catching ensembles, Balqees Fathi makes a winning choice as a collaborator with the fashion house, having worked with the brand previously on the music video for “Aleid Jaa”. She also attended a Riva Fashion showcase during Dubai Fashion Week this season. On the occasion, Fathi was spotted in one of the brand’s most coveted looks, which happened to be from one of its Eid designs from a previous collaboration with international designer Nihan Peker.

Now, Balqees Fathi has also revealed that she will soon be launching an Eid music video with Riva Fashion. The song, which has been directed by Dan Haddad, uses lyrics and music by Ehab Abdelwahed and has been styled by Cedric Haddad. Given the multitalented team behind it, one can safely assume that the new Balqees Fathi x Riva Fashion music video will be nothing short of spectacular.

Sneak peeks of the special Ramadan-ready collaboration shared with Vogue Arabia show the Emirati songstress in a series of bold, yet modest looks that are ideal for the coming month. While one frame shows Fathi in a rosy pantsuit, another sees her enjoying a cup of coffee in a beautiful powder pink jacket + skirt. Other noteworthy looks include Fathi’s dotted white belted jacket + maxi skirt look, a playful color-blocked outfit in shades of purple and tangerine, and for the shopper who loves lots of sparkle, a body-hugging black gown absolutely covered in rhinestones. Also in the mix are elegant kaftans, sharp pantsuits, and cheeky feather-detailed pieces.

Season after season, Riva Fashion strengthens its hold on the sartorial world with a host of offerings that cater to the modest shopper, but prove time and again that conservative silhouettes are anything but bland. Below, a closer look at the new campaign with Fathi.
