Balqees Fathi’s Style Weapon is Head-to-Toe Diamonds, Of Course

Balqees Fathi performed at a private wedding ceremony in Riyadh this week, and for the occasion wore millions of dollars worth of diamonds, naturally. Belting out her chart-topping hits, the Yemeni singer chose a pale pink, heavily embroidered gown from Charbel Karam that shone even brighter paired with mega-watt gems from Chopard. The hitmaker reached for a 29-carat diamond watch and a 4-carat ring to take her ensemble to dazzling heights because, after all, diamonds are a girl’s best friend. Her hair was pulled back into a sleek, half-up style, drawing further attention to her 13-carat white gold earrings that rival any Kira Kira app.

When it came to her makeup, the 30-year-old opted for for a dusting of rose-colored powder wrapped around her eyes, bold, brushed-out arches, and thick, brow-grazing eyelashes. A swivel of raspberry-hued lipstick that matched her gown completed the scene-stealing look.

Fathi has a well-documented track record of upping the ante on glamour during performances. For instance, in July, the Mabrouk singer made her first appearance since welcoming her baby boy in May, at Oman’s Salalah Tourism Festival 2018, wearing a voluminous fairytale gown by Azzi & Osta. Meanwhile, it’s hard to forget the floor-sweeping, ivory gown embellished with feathers from Christian Siriano she wore for a live duet with iconic tenor Andrea Bocelli in Abu Dhabi a couple of years back.
