Balqees Fathi recently took the stage at the Gamers8 Festival in Riyadh in what may be her coolest performance look yet. Dressed in an edgy top and statement pants paired with plenty of accessories, the Emirati-Yemeni singer clearly got the memo about the spirited eSports event.

Fathi’s outfit for the evening was styled by Cedric Haddad, and picked from French brand Alexandre Vauthier’s collections. While the leather halter neck corseted top was a bold choice on its own, her glitzy green and black striped pants took the ensemble to another level. The look also marked a sartorial switch-up for the singer, who is most often seen in breezy kaftans and extravagant gowns. To accessorize the outfit, Fathi looked to a stack of bracelets and rings with green stones from Marli New York, but the highlight of her look was a pair of futuristic sunglasses studded with diamonds across the lenses, from Jaupin. The limited edition sunnies gave off major Matrix vibes, but with a surprise element of sparkle that made them ideal for a stage performance.
The singer’s beauty look complemented her playful ensemble just as well. Fathi wore her long brown locks in defined waves in a half-up-half-down style, while her makeup matched her outfit with glittering green and black smoky eyes. Balqees seems to have loved her edgy new look so much, she wasted no time in changing her Instagram profile picture to a snapshot in the all-eyes-on-me ensemble.
