The dynamo duo that is Giorgia Tordini and Gilda Ambrosio founded Attico in 2016 at Milan Fashion Week, to rapturous acclaim from the industry. Now, the label has launched at Level Shoes in Dubai, rolling out its offering to the Middle Eastern market. Tordini and Ambrosio have been firm fixtures on the international street style circuits show season after show season, celebrated for their elegant remix of textures and utter neglect of trends. They wear what they want and how they want. As always in fashion, that level of sartorial confidence has pulling power, so when the two Milanese It-girls launched a line of long silky robes under the label Attico – which could be a dress or worn deftly over jeans – they began with an instant cult following.

While Tordini’s wardrobe ID is polished (mom jeans teamed with satin slippers and little silk camisoles), Ambrosio plunges into the experimental (Vetements bombers and high-shine Loewe trousers). The result of their aesthetics merging sees the formation of cool classic pieces. The footwear offering is, of course, no departure from the core brand: elegant silhouettes make way for daring color clashes, and unexpected design twists.
