The Region’s Show-Stealing It Girls at Milan Fashion Week

While all eyes are on the long-awaited runways of Milan Fashion Week, our eyes can’t help but also be drawn to the streets outside and in between shows as the region’s biggest it-girls dress to the nines in a runway of their own. Modest fashion once again takes center stage as Dubai-based influencer Leena Al Ghouti models the timeless art of layering with her signature over-the-shoulder hijab outside of the Duomo di Milano and the fashion blogger behind @JustFatema champions monochromatic ensembles with belted waists and heeled boots for a picture-perfect Italian winter look. The world’s hottest footwear designer Amina Muaddi showcases a statement bag from Fendi while regional TV personality Diala Makki is all about the outwear in a striking Dolce & Gabbana coat. Iranian Instagram star Negin Mirsalehi contrasts tailored silhouettes for Gucci‘s already-iconic FW20 presentation as does Ola Farahat in a series of chic outfits highlighting the power of mixing fabrics and colors for a trendy take on everyday fashion.
