The 25th edition of the annual Screen Actors Guild awards (SAG Awards) unfolded in California on Sunday, bringing with it a drove of A-listers who gathered at Los Angeles’s Shrine Auditorium dressed to the nines. A number of celebrities turned up on the silver carpet wearing designs by regional couturiers, with Michelle Yeoh topping best dressed lists in a breathtaking Elie Saab couture creation. The Crazy Rich Asians star demanded a double take wearing a shiny, champagne-colored evening gown with a feathered skirt, which she accessorized with a matching Roger Vivier clutch and a Richard Mille timepiece.

Elsewhere, Catherine Zeta-Jones arrived to the ceremony with her husband Michael Douglas in tow, wearing a plunging, midnight-blue Zuhair Murad creation that was embellished with sequins, and featured long, sheer sleeves and a up-to-there slit. The Lebanese designer also found a fan in Female Actor in a TV Movie or Miniseries nominee Patricia Clarkson, who chose a heavily-embellished, silk chiffon couture gown plucked from the label’s Fall 2018 collection.

But perhaps last night’s king of the red carpet was Georges Chakra. The Lebanese designer dressed not one, but three actresses, including American actress Angela Bassett, Orange is the New Black star Samira Wiley, and Better Call Saul‘s Rhea Seehorn. Wearing a plunging, frill gown, Bassett radiated glamour, while Wiley was a vision in a black, cut-out couture dress, and Seehorn chose a sleek, black jumpsuit juxtaposed with a pop of color on the bodice.
