The DDFC/Vogue Fashion Prize juror has cemented his position as the world’s most in-demand and prestigious designer. Osorio tells Vogue Arabia, “It has been an incredible experience to have had the opportunity to design a bespoke shoe for the Duchess of Sussex’s wedding reception. I am deeply honored to have been chosen for this special occasion and extremely pleased with the creation.” The designer shares that the stiletto shoes have been “expertly hand-crafted in Florence from silky satin with a contrasting see-through net backed with nude mesh showcasing a modern, timeless, and feminine feel. The soles were painted in baby blue to ensure that she carries with her her ‘something blue’.” Aquazzura has recently celebrated global collaborations with the likes of supermodel Claudia Schiffer and has opened a flagship in the Dubai Mall with the Etoile Group helmed by Ingie Chalhoub.
