As the weather gets cooler, we can’t help but look forward to spring next year and plan our wardrobe’s seasonal evolution. Just in time for that, Doaa Alghouti, creative director of UAE-based brand Anatomi has exclusively unveiled the spring/summer 2020 collection to Vogue.me.
This season, Alghouti looks to the ocean, more specifically, under it, to draw from its calm and dreamy feel. The result is a collection boasting a color palette of iridescent hues that emit a summer charm. Think soft pastels like pink and purple as well as a bold black intermingled with metallic whites. Alghouti’s signature minimal aesthetic remains present in the spring/summer 2020 collection and with the colors, exudes the feminine and elegant feel Anatomi’s designs are loved for.
Following the curvilinear structures of calico scallops, the silhouettes are spacious yet structured to fit well at the same time. Every piece in the collection is designed to transition seamlessly from a daytime to a nighttime outfit, giving the Anatomi women a one-stop solution.
The Dubai-based Canadian designer launched her online luxury brand Anatomi in 2015 with the vision of creating modest wear with a modern twist. Anatomi is now fast emerging as a highly-reputable brand in both the local and international markets for its versatile fashion. Fans of the brand include regional style icons such as Leena Al Ghouti, Mthayel Al Ali, and Saufeeya Goodson.

The collection is currently available for pre-order through the label’s Instagram account @anatomiofficial and will also be available in-store at By Symphony at The Dubai Mall and on anatomiofficial.com from February 2020.
