After mastering the sequined minis and vintage dresses trend, it seems Amal Clooney has now set her sights on the jumpsuit. This week, the Lebanese barrister was spotted in not one, but two sleek numbers that she made work for both, on and off-red carpet appearances.
For her first outing, the mother-of-two ditched her usual eveningwear to opt for classic tailoring at the Prince’s Trust and TKMaxx & Homesense Awards 2023 at London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane. Walking the red carpet with husband George Clooney and her mother Baria Alamuddin, she wore a dusty rose sleeveless Atelier Versace jumpsuit with flared, floor-length bottoms and a black leather belt across the waist. She paired it with silver earrings, a beige clutch, and black pointed pumps.

Later, Clooney took the stage at the 2023 4GameChangers festival in Vienna, Austria, where she highlighted the importance of human rights and freedom of the press with Nobel Peace Prize laureate Nadia Murad. The occasion saw her dressed in another polished look, but this time, a dark gray, pinstriped sleeveless jumpsuit. Featuring a lapel collar, a couple of buttons, and a thin black leather belt, the sleek number fits right in a working woman’s wardrobe, especially that of Clooney, who is known to balance her professional life with her love for fashion.
Those looking for a new staple to take one from meetings to dinners this spring will do well to take a page out of Clooney’s style book. Metallic jewelry, classic footwear, and a handbag are all that are needed to complete the outfit for the woman on the go. Given that the 45-year-old has previously showcased a streak of looks identical to each other, we can expect to see more jumpsuit styling inspiration from her soon.
