Spring 2018 fashion month may only have ended days ago, but Amal Clooney is already hitting style home runs in these fresh-from-the-runway trends.

Over the weekend, the human rights lawyer stepped out in two contrasting day and night outfits. To celebrate the William Vintage x Gianni Versace archive collection, which debuted on Farfetch on Thursday, Clooney channeled her inner supermodel in a slinky, gold vintage Versace dress. The outfit recalled the house’s most recent show, where supermodels Cindy Crawford, Helena Christensen, Naomi Campbell, Carla Bruni, and Claudia Schiffer appeared in gold chain mail to the chorus of George Michael’s Freedom. The party-ready look was paired with matching high-shine pumps and a clutch. The look has been echoed in Saint Laurent‘s statement party dresses, and Ralph & Russo‘s high-shine key pieces.

The following day, Clooney, who gave birth to twins Alexander and Ella in June, swapped her dress and heels for more casual attire while out and about in Los Angeles. Wearing a plain black tank top and distressed jeans (a look we saw on the Paco Rabanne runway), Clooney made a case for off-duty dressing with an elevated twist. She heightened the ensemble with a pair of metallic wedges, which added a so-2018 feel reminiscent of Chanel‘s Fall 2017 space-themed collection.

Indeed, when it comes to her sartorial choices, Clooney has a knack for embracing trends before they hit the mainstream fashion radar, securing her status as a certified style icon. Memorably, the Lebanese activist turned heads in a bold red Bottega Veneta skirtsuit at the United Nations, while the head-to-toe millennial pink outfit she wore last spring set the tone for the all-pink craze to follow.
