Amal Clooney’s Latest Red Carpet Look Combines Two of Her Favorite Style Elements

While Amal Clooney‘s executive style can be best described as polished and sharp, her off-duty and red carpet looks are known to take a more playful approach. The Lebanese barrister proved this once again with her latest appearance, at the 2022 Prince’s Trust Awards in London.

Walking the red carpet with her mother Baria Alamuddin, who was dressed in a cream co-ord set, Clooney stepped out in a red and white floral dress. Having worn the print on a number of occasions (the Giambattista Valli minidress at the Hail! Caesar premiere, and the Richard Quinn piece at the 2018 Met Gala), it is safe to say that florals are a Clooney favorite. The mother-of-two has also been spotted in bold shades of red many a time, with the hue making its way into her work wardrobe as well. Her latest look came with oversized red flowers taking over a white column dress with a strapless bodice. Keeping accessories to a minimum, Clooney wore a pair of silver earrings and looked to a white box clutch and matching stilettos. Her beauty look featured her signature hairstyle with waves and a side parting, and a red pout was the highlight of her makeup.

Clooney was in attendance at the event to present the Amal Clooney Women’s Empowerment Award, which seeks to honor “young women who have succeeded against the odds to make a lasting difference in their communities.” The international law and human rights lawyer has been working with The Prince’s Trust since 2019 to personally select the recipient of the award. This year, the Amal Clooney Award was given to Tanzila Khan, a Pakistani disability rights activist, author, and motivational speaker.
