Crimson emerged as a major trend from the Fall 2018 runways during Fashion Month. Vibrant shades of scarlet popped up on the catwalks of Prada, Valentino, Oscar de la Renta, and Tibi, proving that red is the coolest color this season — particularly when worn head-to-toe.
Always one to be on top of trends, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had a stunning lady in red moment while accepting the Lux golden Rose Timeless Beauty Of The year Award at the Lux Golden Rose Awards 2018 on Monday night. The Bollywood beauty, who was honored with the award exactly 24 years after she won the coveted the Miss World 1994 pageant, cut a fine figure in a red, scene-stealing gown. The floor-trailing design featured sheer, long sleeves and a high neck, and was covered in reflective sequins in different sizes and shapes. She accented the look with a diamond ring and bold crimson lipstick, naturally. For the evening, the 45-year-old opted to part her sleek, chestnut lengths neatly down the middle and pulled it back out of her face.
Rai Bachchan’s appearance at the third edition of the Lux Golden Rose Awards came just days after her daughter Aaradhya’s seventh birthday party on Saturday. The 45-year-old planned a sweet birthday bash for her only child at her and her husband Abhishek Bachchan’s home, turning their backyard into a makeshift theme park. The fun-filled party was attended by Shah Rukh Khan’s son Abram and Shilpa Shetty, who came with her son in tow. The Bride and Prejudice actress sent out a heartfelt message for her daughter on Instagram. “Happy 7th birthday my darling angel, Aaradhya. You are my life. I love you eternally, infinitely, unconditionally,” she wrote. The Bachchans also celebrated their daughter’s birthday with a close-knit party on Friday night with just a couple of her friends.
