Paris Fashion Week offered plenty of wardrobe inspiration with evening-wear taking various forms on the fall/winter 20 runways. From slinky, figure-hugging dresses to ones on the verge of maximalism with voluminous skirts, puffy sleeves, and ruffles, designers presented something for everyone even in collections that predominantly featured refined tailoring and day-time looks. Case in point: Balenciaga, which for some time now has shown a serious inclination to sportswear with the label’s sneakers competing with brands like Adidas, Puma, and Nike, also hinted at evening-wear with draped dresses that had built-in leggings.
