Last week marked the opening of the 43rd edition of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Running until September 16, the annual film festival will showcase over 300 features, short films, documentaries, and world premieres. Kicking off TIFF’s first weekend of its 10-day run, a number of A-listers took to the red carpet donning their glittering best. Memorable fashion moments come courtesy of Natalie Portman, who looked elegant in a pink Dior gown, and Franca Sozzani Award recipient Salma Hayek, who donned a ruffled, red dress from Alexander McQueen. Stars and designers of the region were also out in full force, with French-Algerian actor Sofia Boutella in attendance, and Georges Chakra dressing Kate Beckinsale.
