Hollywood’s breakout style stars were all in attendance at the 2018 Gotham Awards, which kicked off in New York City on Monday. The annual event, which is a precursor to the highly-anticipated film awards season, is a highlight of the year’s best indie films and series. This means that the red carpet was rife with budding style stars, including Elsie Fisher, who took home the Breakthrough Actor award for her role as Kayla Day in 2018 comedy drama Eighth Grade. For the occasion, the 15-year-old wore a hot pink A.L.C pantsuit, which she accessorized with a red handbag from Kate Spade New York. Other breakout stars to watch include Helena Howard and Kiki Layne, who were also nominated for the prestigious award. While Howard chose an ethereal, white Calvin Klein by Appointment gown, Layne turned heads in a plunging, sequin-embellished Miu Miu number. See who else wore what to the 2018 Gotham Awards in the gallery above.
