Award show season kicked off on Monday with the 75th edition of the Golden Globes, but this year’s annual show was a departure from the glitz and glam of traditional ceremonies. In light of the recent accusations of sexual misconduct in Hollywood, the industry’s most powerful women unveiled Times Up, a campaign that aims to dismantle sexual assault and systemic gender and racial inequality in show business. The movement was rolled out at tonight’s award show, with a number of the attendees, both women and men, opting to wear all black in solidarity.
