The CFDA Awards are the fashion equivalent to the Oscars and, much like the Academy Awards, the 2018 eco-friendly red carpet (it was made out of recycled materials) did not disappoint. On Monday, designers, models, and A-listers gathered at New York City’s Brooklyn Museum dressed to the nines to celebrate fashion luminaries Donatella Versace, Ralph Lauren, Narciso Rodriguez, Naomi Campbell, and Kim Kardashian West, who all received honors on the night. The event, which was hosted by Issa Rae, was attended by Gigi Hadid clad in Versace, Irina Shayk wearing a Diane Von Furstenberg gown, Cate Blanchett in Monse, and Kaia Gerber, who made her CFDA Awards debut wearing head-to-toe Alexander Wang.
