10 Unforgettable Golden Globe Red Carpet Outfits

The 74th Golden Globes are less than 24 hours away, taking the stage at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. Since its first ceremony in 1944, the annual awards show has brought together some of Hollywood’s most beautiful faces, sporting bold and playful gowns on the red carpet.

Ahead of this year’s show, which will be hosted by Jimmy Fallon, we revisit the most memorable style moments throughout the decades, starting with the sequined, body-hugging Norman Norell gown worn by Marilyn Monroe in 1962, just months before her untimely death.

In 2012, Charlize Theron accented her pastel pink Dior couture number with sparkling Cartier diamonds. Two years later, Lupita Nyong’o made her debut Golden Globes red carpet appearance wearing a red, caped Ralph Lauren dress that immediately put her on the fashion map. From Kate Moss’ sequined, high-neck dress in 1995 (commissioned by her then boyfriend, Johnny Depp), to the red, cut-out Dior gown sported by Jennifer Lawrence at last year’s ceremony, we take a look at the most iconic Golden Globe outfits.

10 Times Arab designers ruled the red carpets in 2016.
