The who’s whos of the sartorial world descended upon London over the past few days as the hustle and bustle of London Fashion Week commenced in full swing. Amidst sitting front-row at the Fall/Winter 2020 season’s most coveted shows and partying at some of the city’s most exclusive after-parties, some of the industry’s leading personalities gathered at Scott’s in Mayfair for an intimate dinner celebrating Maxx Royals Resort’s latest adventure: Partnering with Russian supermodel Natalia Vodianova.
While Vodianova may be the Turkish luxury hotel’s newest campaign ambassador, it’s certainly not the first time they have joined forces. Throughout the past four years, the two have supported each other on various philanthropic initiatives, such as Vodianova’s charity dedicated to helping children with disabilities, The Naked Heart Foundation, and the inaugural “Let’s Talk” summit Vodianova created to spark a global dialogue on women’s health.
“It’s wonderful to be here in London during Fashion Week and especially with the Maxx Royal family and Resorts,” shared the former longtime Calvin Klein muse. “Our relationship started four years ago with their generous support to The Naked Heart Foundation and hosted the inaugural summit for my platform Let’s Talk, which tackles the stigma & taboos surrounding women’s health. In fact, you launched a movement! I am so grateful to continue this partnership and work together in the future.”
From Victoria’s Secret frontrunner Shanina Shaik and emerging hijabi model Ikram Abdi Omar to Greek designer Mary Katrantzou, the evening’s stars headed into an underwater oasis reminiscent of the boutique beach destinations for which Maxx Royal Resorts is renowned. Brightly colored arrangements and marine life decals decorated the private dining area while a curated menu of fresh seafood served with a Mediterranean flair transported guests to an unforgettable rendezvous under the sea.
