Yuna on Vogue: “The Only Magazine That Represents the Person I Am”

“It’s different, it’s bold, brave, and represents a lot of women who are from parts of the world who want to be included in fashion,” says the artist in the Yuna Vogue interview about the magazine’s debut September issue. The landmark new-season editorial offering is the largest published to date. The new issue ushers in the Fall 2017 season and stars American-Palestinian model Bella Hadid on the cover, photographed by Karl Lagerfeld and wearing Fendi. The Middle Eastern fashion community has already started celebrating the big fashion issue – on sale from August 30 – taking to social media to share their reflections, including vox pops from Dana Hourani, Meena Rose, Fouz Al Fahad, and Mthayel Al-Ali, to name but a few.

“I don’t dress like a lot of women,” Yuna told team Vogue Arabia. The newly engaged artist added that this is the first Vogue she can relate to. “I practice modesty, and I love fashion. The only fashion magazine that represents me, the person that I am, is Vogue Arabia.” Watch the interview here.
