If you’re after somewhere to take your morning coffee in style in Saudi Arabia, then we’ve got a suggestion for you. Vogue Café has opened a new outpost in the Kingdom, with the permanent location in the capital of Riyadh launching on September 24. For the first Vogue Café in the Gulf country – and, indeed, the Middle East – Condé Nast International Restaurants has partnered with Saudi’s premium investment company, Global Series Company.
Taking up residence at the Riyadh Park Mall, the new all-day restaurant features an outdoor terrace that offers 360-degree views of the King Abdullah Financial City. The dining space spans 600 meters, and boasts a modern and refined interior. Walls are peppered with iconic covers and editorials from the British and Arabian Vogue archives, including framed photos of all of Vogue Arabia’s covers to date.
As for the food, the delectable menu comprises an array of mouth-watering vegetarian and meat dishes, such as shrimp vermicelli, goat’s cheese and fig salad, grilled tuna and ratatouille, as well as cinnamon puff pastry. Freshly-squeezed juices and coffees are also available in takeaway cups for shoppers.
The Kingdom’s new cafe joins the growing list of international outposts of Vogue Cafés, currently operating in Kiev, Porto, and Moscow, with establishments soon to open in Berlin and Kuala Lumpur.
