She’s one of Egypt’s most prominent actors, and she’s about to dominate the silver screen yet again. The promotional poster for hotly anticipated action movie Layla Haana wa Srour, starring Yasmine Sabri, has just landed ahead of the film’s release next month. The Egyptian star took to her Instagram account to unveil the playful poster, which features a defensive Sabri alongside her co-star Mohamed Adel Imam (the duo have previously acted alongside each other in the 2016 comedy Gahim Fel Hend).

In the image, the pair are clad in silk pajamas and clutching kitchen utensils such as a broomstick and ladles, while the world is ablaze behind them. Sabri and Emam star alongside Mohamed Sallam, Bayoumi Fouad, and Rehab El Gamal in the new comedy, which tells the story of a young businessman who gets involved in a gang after he’s rejected by the father of the girl he loves. More bold-faced names starring in the film include Olympic wrestler Karam Gaber and Farouk Al-Fishawy, who plays the role of the gang-leader. The film is set arrive in time for Eid, which is predicted to begin on June 15.

Sabri, who has 4.4 million Instagram followers, has previously starred in 2013’s Khatawat El Shaytan, which was her official TV screen debut, series Gabel El Helal, and Tariki. As we patiently await the trailer and official release date of Layla Waana wa Srour, we look back at Sabri’s most head-turning red carpet fashion moments in the gallery below.
