She’s one of the stars of TV series The Big Bang Theory, and Kaley Cuoco certainly made a big bang on her wedding day. The American actor wed equestrian Karl Cook at the Rancho Santa Fe in San Diego, California, on Saturday, and wore a custom creation for the occasion. The star turned to Reem Acra for her floor-length gown, which was artfully embroidered in romantic blooms. The Beirut-born couturier also crafted an ethereal, matching cape, which tied at the neck with a delicate bow, and Cuoco finished off her bridal look with a hairpiece from Jennifer Behr.

Thirty-two-year Cuoco described the outfit as her “dream cape” to her 3.7 million Instagram followers, as she shared several shots from her big day. Acra also shared several stunning portraits of the actor as the maison sent the newlyweds its congratulations. The label has been worn by A-listers aplenty in the past, including Jennifer Lopez, Taylor Swift and Beyoncé, with its bridal designs worn by Chelsea Clinton, Jenna Dewan, and model Arlenis Sosa, to name just a few.

However Cuoco did not settle on just one wedding outfit – the star later changed into a party-ready, lace jumpsuit by Japanese designer Tadashi Shoji for her reception. The couple’s wedding came seven months after they announced their engagement, which took place on Cuoco’s birthday in 2017. The actor is also a keen equestrian in her spare time, and first met Cook at a horse-riding event.
