It appears that wedding season is officially upon us. Over the weekend, there was a number of high-profile nuptials, which brought together a crowd of well-heeled guests. Egypt played host to three different ceremonies, including the wedding of Salma Abu Deif‘s little sister, Noura, who tied the knot in a fairytale Temraza gown. Meanwhile, the Egyptian actress opted for a heavily embellished, high-slit gown from Malak El Ezzawy to celebrate her sibling’s big day.
Elsewhere, Lara Scandar and Soraya Bakhtiar served up some serious style inspo at the “I dos” of their friends, who went by the personalized hashtag #JanJoudi. For the occasion, Scandar stunned in a black, strapless Sandra Mansour gown, while Bakthiar’s sheer, sequin-encrusted Dior gown nearly stole the scene. Also tying the knot in Egypt was Egyptian actress Shimaa Seif, whose wedding guest list included Arab icon Sherihan and Fi Al La La Land co-star Donia Samir Ghanem.
Across the Mediterranean Sea, Lebanese shoe designer Andrea Wazen tied the knot to her longtime partner in the City of Love on Saturday. For the big day, the bride wore a tiered, high-neck Nicolas Jebran wedding dress equipped with sheer, long sleeves. The bride exchanged vows in an intimate church ceremony before heading to Paris’s Musée des Arts Forains, to dance the night away in an out-of-the-world reception with her friends and family, which included Karen Wazen B who demanded a double take in a frothy, bubblegum-colored gown by Ralph & Russo.
