Instagram is already saturated with the couple cooing over each other as ‘my wife’ and ‘my forever love’, so it comes as no surprise that planning for Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz’s wedding is in full swing. Now, the young couple are ironing out the details of the day, having reportedly set the date and chosen the all-important location.

According to the Sun, Victoria and David Beckham’s eldest son and the American actor have opted to tie the knot at one of the Peltz family’s sprawling homes. While the Beckhams’ £30 million Holland Park abode and £6 million Cotswolds farmhouse are nothing to sniff at, Nicola, the daughter of billionaire American businessman Nelson Peltz, has plenty of potential locations of her own to choose from.
Although Brooklyn and Nicola now live in a £7.7 million Beverly Hills property, according to Hello!, the pair are headed south-east for the day itself. The wedding is rumored to be taking place at the Peltz family’s sprawling Regency-style home in Florida’s Palm Beach; a 27-bedroom, ocean-front mansion that’s reportedly worth £76 million.

A source told the Sun: ‘Understandably Nicola and Brooklyn want the entire day to be perfect and their attention to detail is quite astonishing. Money is obviously no object, but nonetheless they want the day to be a celebration of love, not wealth.’
The event is set to be a family affair, with Brooklyn’s little brothers – Romeo, 19, and Cruz, 16 – reportedly acting as his Best Men; and one of Nicola’s older brothers, 32-year-old former ice hockey player Brad Peltz, stepping up as Man of Honor. It’s thought that Brooklyn’s father, David, will be Master of Ceremonies, and is expected to give a short speech. The star-studded guest list will reportedly include Gigi Hadid, Nicole Richie and Gordon and Tana Ramsay. Sir Elton John, Brooklyn’s godfather, is sadly thought to be unable to attend, as the date – reportedly set for April 9 – clashes with his tour.

As for Nicola’s wedding dress, there had previously been speculation over whether her soon-to-be mother-in-law, Victoria, would be doing the designing honors. In an interview with CR Fashion Book last year, however, Nicola revealed that she has opted for a bespoke Valentino gown, working closely with creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli. She said of the experience: “We’ve been to Rome twice, watching everyone in the atelier, they’re just so talented… It is really a beautiful thing to be a part of, and it’s very exciting… The creative process has been fun, like finding the perfect fit and fabric.” A source told the Sun that Victoria “designed Nicola’s engagement dress, and is fully supportive of the move”, noting that while Nicola “has plumped for two fairytale Valentino numbers… A VB number is likely to pop up in the evening do.”
The source added that ‘the happy couple will do their wedding their way’, while another told the news outlet that Nicola ‘ticks all the boxes’, stating: ‘David and Victoria couldn’t be happier about the forthcoming wedding.’
Brooklyn broke the news of his engagement to Nicola in July 2020, and the young couple were originally expected to get married last year. Given the ongoing pandemic, however, it’s thought likely that they held off in order to be able to celebrate on a suitably fabulous scale. Speaking to Hello! in 2021, Brooklyn revealed: “We’ve been engaged for a year and if Covid wasn’t a thing we’d have liked to have been married already, and it has been a bit difficult… You know, I’ve only just started to travel again, I’m travelling a little bit now but hopefully, it’ll be next year.”
As April 9 draws closer, Brooklyn, 22, and Nicola, 26, have been sharing glimpses of the planning process on social media. Having formerly pursued a career as a photographer, Brooklyn has recently been honing his skills as a gastronome, even starting an Instagram video series titled #cookinwithbrooklyn.
It’s no wonder, therefore, that the food at the wedding is being given careful thought, with Nicola posting on her Instagram Stories: “On the way to cake tastings @brooklynbeckham.” She shared snaps of delicacies including a red velvet cake, crowned with decadent frosting, and pretty tartlets adorned with berries.
It’s likely that the wedding will be a magnificent affair, marking the union of one of the UK’s most famous families with a powerful – and extremely wealthy – US dynasty (Nelson Peltz has an estimated net worth of $1.7 billion). Due to the high-profile nature of the event, the Sun adds that two private security firms have been recruited (one for each family), and there’ll reportedly be a social media ban, with guests asked not to take their own pictures.
