The wait is almost over! Waterbomb Festival has just announced the dates for its Dubai edition, as well as the venue it will take place in.
It’s not long until the biggest names in the K-pop, K-hip-hop and EDM industries descend in Dubai for the first ever Waterbomb Festival in the region. The popular South Korean music fest, which brings together multiple days of live entertainment and water fights, is all set to take place on June 7 and 8 at Dubai Festival City. Mark your calendars, as tickets are set to go on sale on Platinumlist.net very soon, on Friday, April 26 .
For the uninitiated, Waterbomb Festival first launched in August 2015, and offers fans a unique experience that combines fun and music. As its name suggests, water is a huge part of the festival, with the lineup and audiences being split into two teams competing against each other via water guns. The inaugural edition in the UAE is part of the festival’s global expansion, as it gets ready to take to new countries like Singapore, and Hong Kong for the first time. “Powerful water cannons” and “water pistols” are just a couple of exciting items that are set to make this experience worth remembering.

As for the lineup, Waterbomb Festival is known for enlisting a good mix of K-pop, K-hip-hop, and K-RnB acts, ensuring there is something for every listener. The upcoming edition in Seoul will feature hitmakers like Jessi, Crush, Jay Park, Taemin, and more. Fans in Dubai can expect a similar round of artists, given that many names on the lineup including Loco, Hwasa, Zico, and Sunmi have previously performed in Dubai and Abu Dhabi not long ago.
