International festival Wake Up Call is making its way to Dubai after three massive shows that took place in Los Angeles, Barcelona, and Bali last year.
This year, W Dubai – The Palm will be hosting the music festival with an impressive lineup featuring British duo Disclosure, made up of brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence, Australian dance group Rüfüs Du Sol, and pop singer Rita Ora – who recently filmed her latest music video in Dubai’s hottest spots – from October 10 to 12.
Taking the festival to the next level, W Dubai aims to add luxury to its international music festival scene. The hotel’s guests will have free access to the three-day fiesta, and they can check-in and check-out of performances through the hotel at their convenience. Fancy a yoga session with Rita Ora, or a ping-pong match with Rüfüs Du Sol? The five-star property is also rewarding members of their loyalty program Marriot Bonvoy with exclusive access to events, parties, and shows.
“Festival-goers don’t necessarily want to sleep in a field, line-up for a portable toilet or sample the standard festival fast food,” said Anthony Ingham, Global Brand Leader of W Hotels Worldwide. “ Our guests want all the playful luxuries of a W Hotel stay whilst they enjoy incredible artists and an authentic festival vibe. Wake Up Call offers just that. It’s a truly unforgettable experience that we are excited to bring to our newest hotel in the Middle East, W Dubai – The Palm.”
If that isn’t enough, W Dubai is also offering fine-dining dishes from chef Massimo Bottura’s Torno Subito, and Akira Back’s namesake rooftop restaurant, as well as a brunch buffet to complete the culinary line-up. The W hotel has also organized trainer-led sessions Detox Retox Repeat with Fuel classes for those who need to add a work out to their schedules.
While three world-renowned artists have been confirmed, the full schedule of Wake Up Call will be announced over the coming weeks.
