Combining the spirit of Italy’s golden age with modern Milan, the Westin Palace is one of the most luxurious hotels in the city. The hotel is situated in an upscale Piazza Della Repubblica neighborhood that is bursting with centuries-old attractions, luxe shopping, and a delicious restaurant scene.

The Westin Palace’s unique location in the center of Milan, along with it’s stylish and contemporary atmosphere make the hotel stand out. Recently, the sumptuous hotel was renovated and modernized to meet the needs of local and international travelers. Led by renowned designer Irene Pansadoro, the restoration masterfully transformed 196 guestrooms and 35 suites into a glorious mixture of 1950’s-inspired Milanese homes with 21st-century design.

The contemporary rooms are adorned with the colors grey — a color associated often associated with Milan; and yellow, a color associated with Giallo Milano. Each room is enriched with an eclectic collection of artworks including reproductions of sketches and pictures signed by Jole Veneziani – iconic fashion designer of the 50’s – that belong to Fondazione. Although most of the rooms have been modernized, the imperial rooms still embody an empire style and maintain the precious original boiserie. The decor is further elevated with high-tech velvets, satin brass, natural wool, silk wallpaper, and wood paneling with a touch of grey, emerald green, and rose accents. Inviting relaxation, Pansadoro uses pink and white onyx – a precious material utilized in crystal therapy – that has soothing properties to relieve stress and turmoil.

The Presidential Suite spans over 200 square meters across the combined 8th and 9th levels. The suite boasts an enormous private terrace, offering panoramic views of Milan’s skyline, and a cutting-edge Minipool Seaside. It’s hard not to feel like royalty when met with compelling city views, intricate wood paneling, gilded finishes, and art.

Guests can start and end their day with meals from a diverse range of restaurants. Housing one of Milan’s most beautifully decorated terraces, PanEVO is known for its Italian-inspired menu that has been carefully tailored by Chef Augusto Tombolato – who modifies dishes based on seasonal discoveries. For an intimate atmosphere, head to The Lounge Bar, an ideal place for guests to host visitors or meetings. Also on offer are the hotel’s special aperitifs, smoothies, or signature teas on regular days, and on Sundays, the Westin’s Brunch buffet is a must-try.

Styled in elegant timber-floors, 14 meeting rooms have been redesigned to host private events. Hosts can choose between the venues on the 8th or Mezzanine levels that span over 10,000 square feet.

After a day of sightseeing, unwind at The Westin Palace’s holistic spa that incorporates multi-sensory elements in their bespoke services. Guests can also visit the sauna, steam bath, and 24-hour fitness center that are equipped with “Technogym” workout systems.
