The Lowdown: Located just off the Strand on the north bank of the River Thames, the Savoy is located in close proximity to some of London’s renowned attractions including the National Gallery, the House of Parliament and high-end theatres and restaurants.

Savoy Grill by Gordon Ramsay – The Savoy grill which initially opened in 1889 quickly became a favorite amongst the likes of Sir Winston Churchill, Frank Sinatra and Oscar Wilde and is now regarded as a renowned hot-spot of London’s who’s who. Drawing inspiration from the hotel’s 1920 deco roots, interior designer, Russell Sage preserved the restaurant’s original table plan including Winston Churchill’s favorite table. A must-try is the Omelette Arnold Bennett and the Roasted Beef with Fondant Potato and Creamed Wild Mushrooms.

The Beaufort Bar – Through its thoughtfully curated menu which takes the form of an intricately illustrated book, the award-winning Beaufort Bar proposes a toast to The Savoy’s captivating history. Guests can order from a delightful selection of cocktails which come served in unique era-specific vintage glassware. Each one individually paying homage to The Savoy’s most acclaimed clients. The theatrical inspired décor takes guests on a journey of the hotel’s legacy from undisclosed wartime bars to rooftop tap-dancing.

Suite Talk: Ideal for guests who are looking for a luxurious and residential style of accommodation, the Savoy Suite comes with a 24-hour butler service and was re-designed in 2016 by award-winning interior designer, Pierre Yves Rochon. The Savoy Suite compromises a lounge with fireplace, private bar and pantry as well as a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom adorned with Penhaligon amenities. The suite boasts incomparable views of the River Thames and London Eye and was was once occupied by Claude Monet inspiring his series of ‘London Bridge’ masterpieces. The suite comes equipped with Ruark/Vita Audio digital radio’s as well as a custom design leather desk set made exclusively for the Savoy by Bill Amberg.
