Paying tribute to true Icelandic style, the hotel elevates the spirit of nightlife by offering guests an exciting lineup of restaurants and bars, each of which comes with a unique theme and cuisine. Perhaps the most popular of the lot is Tide, which specializes in seafood sourced with fresh local ingredients from the Iceland markets, and recently acquired Michelin-star chef Gunnar Karl Gislason. The hotel also houses an iconic rooftop bar with unparalleled views of the Northern mountains and Atlantic ocean, accented with a small menu serving elevated comfort dishes. The Reykjavik Edition is also home to a vibrant lobby lounge and an intimate cocktail bar.

The hotel also includes a spectacular penthouse perched on the sixth floor of the hotel, overlooking glittering views of the city and the Northern Atlantic ocean. While the luxurious aesthetic of the hotel can be alluring by itself, The Reykjavik Edition also promises all its visitors a great visit, given its easily accessible location in the heart of Iceland. Placed in a historic setting amidst the Old Harbor port in Downtown Reykjavik, the hotel is only a few steps away from the city’s most famous hotspots, including the prominent Hallgrimskirkja church and Laugavegeur Street, an exquisite shopping district. The old harbor area where the hotel is placed is also home to abandoned ships with rich cultural meaning, and the Harpa concert hall.
