Last night, the region’s style icons, industry insiders, and movers and shakers gathered at Fashion Avenue to celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Dubai Mall. After enjoying a lavish spread amid the shopping destination’s elegant boutiques, the party moved to The Address Downtown, where well-heeled guests rubbed shoulders under the subtle glow of the Burj Khalifa.
Held at newly opened al-fresco sushi restaurant Zeta, the after-dark affair attracted the likes of supermodel Naomi Campbell, model and humanitarian Jessica Kahawaty, singer and creator Dana Hourani, and actor Salma Abu Deif. On the terrace overlooking the opulent Dubai Fountain, both Vogue Arabia Editor-in-Chief Manuel Arnaut and Patrick Bousquet-Chavanne, CEO at Emaar Malls, feted The Dubai Mall’s milestone occasion on the eve of the launch of Vogue Loves Fashion Avenue, a 10-day calendar of exclusive talks with celebrities and style icons, masterclasses from industry experts, and live performances.
Guests were also treated to a breathtaking special-edition projection, cast across the world’s tallest tower to celebrate the occasion. A selection of high-fashion images and runway videos, taken throughout the last decade, were displayed on the Burj Khalifa, alongside several shots of Vogue Arabia’s cover star, Naomi Campbell.
