Hosted by editor-in-chief Manuel Arnaut and Middle East Marriott International COO Sandeep Walia, a special midnight supper will take place on the evening of May 1, at The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm. The intimate — and very exclusive — dinner soirée will see a selection of 40 special guests coming together at the renowned hotel for a culinary journey like no other.
For the uninitiated, midnight suppers are an integral part of the signature rituals of the St. Regis ethos. Rooted deep in the history of the brand, these experiences are hosted in St. Regis properties all over the globe. The concept of the Midnight Suppers itself can be traced back to the early 20th century, when Caroline Astor, part of the brand’s founding family ‘The Astor’ and the doyenne of Gilded Age high society in New York, began hosting lavish parties at the original St. Regis hotel in New York City. It quickly became a gathering place for high society and celebrities, thanks to its beautiful decor, unique menu offerings, and exceptional entertainment. This time around, the Vogue Arabia x St. Regis Midnight Supper will invite guests to enjoy canapés and live jazz at the St. Regis Bar before indulging in a specially curated meal. The dress code of the evening is equal parts classic and bold: Very Vogue.
As we gear up for a luxurious evening of food, fashion and film — with the much anticipated screening of a new St. Regis film — here’s a closer look at the hotel on everyone’s radar at the moment.
