June 18

The Arts Center at NYU Abu Dhabi

To mark World Refugee Day, The Arts Center at NYU Abu Dhabi is holding an online performance of Cartography – a theatrical work that deals with displacement.
The performance follows the journey of four young migrants who leave their worlds behind, seeking a fresh start. Expect beautiful storytelling complete with interactive video technology and captivating theatre work.

Met Opera

The Met Opera is airing a different recording of a past production each night while it remains closed to the public. A 1984 production of Verdi’s “La Forza del Destino” will air this Thursday and Friday. Philip Glass’ productions of “Akhnaten” and “Satyagraha” will air on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. If you want to turn your living room into front row seats for a wonderful soirée with classical music, this is your chance.

Peter Pan Live!

Filmed in 2014, NBC’s ‘Peter Pan Live!’ stars Allison Williams in the title role, Christopher Walken as Captain Hook, Taylor Elizabeth Louderman — best known for originating the role of Regina George in the Broadway musical “Mean Girls” — as Wendy Darling; Tony Award-winning actress Kelli O’Hara — who was the guest artist at last year’s Tabernacle Choir Christmas concert — as Mrs. Darling; and Broadway star Christian Borle as Mr. Darling and Smee.

The show will be available to stream for 48 hours starting June 19, here.
