Nicky Romero, Major Lazer, Zedd and More to Perform at Ultra Abu Dhabi

Adding to the anticipation for Abu Dhabi Music Week, Ultra Abu Dhabi has announced its lineup and it boasts the names of some of the world’s biggest DJs. At the du Arena on Yas Island on March 5 and 6, the festival will host DJ Snake who has entertained crowds all over the world, from South Africa to India and Japan. The Grammy-nominated DJ will make his Abu Dhabi debut by performing his famous hits from albums Carte blanche and Encore. Major Lazer known for their chart-topping hit Lean On will also take the stage and have been confirmed to tease unreleased bits from their forthcoming fourth studio album.

World-renowned DJ Zedd will also have the crowd dancing to his hits such as Middle and Stay the Night amongst others while Dutch and Swedish DJs Afrojack and Alesso will deliver high octane beats and vocal-driven records respectively. After delivering an iconic performance in the city earlier this year, Nicky Romero, known for his tracks with David Guetta and Rihanna will return to Abu Dhabi for the festival.

DJ KSHMR who currently ranks on number 15 in the world on DJ Mag’s Top 100 list, is all set to wow the crowd with his Indian-American electro house tunes along with other legendary artists like Swedish DJ Eric Prydz – also known as Cirez D, and dark tech-house American DJ and producer Seth Troxler who in today’s world, is underground electronic dance music’s most iconic figure. 

 “With the extraordinary line-up of superstar DJs that Ultra is bringing to the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi Music Week is set to be one of the most exciting entertainment phenomena in the region. We are extremely proud of the partnership we have formed with Ultra, one of the world’s leading music platforms, to bring this exceptional event to the Middle East for the very first time,” said Ali Hassan Al Shaiba, Executive Director of Tourism and Marketing Sector at DCT. He added, ” And this is only the start, as Ultra Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi Music Week will be announcing many more thrilling additions to their lineups over the coming weeks. Specific dates for each artist’s performance has not been announced yet, however, the festival organizers have revealed that they will soon announce the second wave of artists performing – so stay tuned.
