As the effects of Covid-19 continue to impact our everyday reality, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE has created the Frontline Heroes Office in recognition and support of the country’s frontline workers who are tirelessly dedicating their lives to helping us all overcome this global health crisis.

Chaired by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, this newly established organization based in the UAE capital will continue to raise public awareness about the critical yet selfless role of frontline workers during this unprecedented emergency and provide them with long-term assistance.

Provided with the opportunity to open branches throughout the six other emirates and work in collaboration with various governmental and private bodies, this Office aims to execute initiatives that will help build a cohesive database of frontline workers across the entire country to better address their needs and understand their evolving priorities. In addition, the Office has the authority to organize events, grant awards, and nominate exceptional frontliners for honorary medals, according to the Emirates News Agency.

Your courage has built an invincible fortress, protecting our society,” adding “We cannot thank you enough for your spirit that protects our nation. Thank you for putting our safety before yours.
