THE CROWN

When it comes to Netflix shows, The Crown continues to reign supreme. If you’ve yet to get into the series allow us to quickly recap: seasons one and two see actor Claire Foy reenacting the life of Queen Elizabeth II, while in seasons three and four award-winning actor Olivia Colman takes on the coveted role. This new binge-worthy series is a coming-of-age period drama based on Walter Tevis’s 1983 novel of the same name. The series focuses on Beth Harmon, an orphaned chess prodigy struggling with addiction and life’s many challenges. The series takes you from the 1950s through to 1960s as Harmon competes to become the world’s best chess player.

FABULOUS LIVES OF BOLLYWOOD WIVES

India’s take on Keeping up with the Kardashian’s, Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives is a reality show, which follows exactly what the title suggests – the lives of four middle-aged women married to famous Indian actors. From shopping trips in a Rolls-Royce to Parisian debutante balls, watch Neelam Kothari Soni, Maheep Kapoor, Seema Khan and Bhavana Pandey’s live their aspirational lifestyles.

SCHITT’S CREEK

Winner of the Outstanding Comedy Series award at the 2020 Emmy’s, this Canadian sitcom follows the life of a former absurdly rich family that goes bankrupt and is forced to live out their days in a place called Schitts Creek – that they bought as a joke.
