The Independents Expands in the Middle East with Bureau Béatrice Aquisition

The Independents, a communications firm known for its focus on luxury, style, and lifestyle, has begun to establish ground in the Middle East by obtaining Bureau Béatrice, a revolutionary multimedia and creative technology startup. This acquisition is part of The Independents’ strategy to broaden its expertise and enhance its service offerings across key markets.

Bureau Béatrice

The Dubai-based agency was established in 2021 by Kevin Alderweireldt and Jon S. Maloy, and was created to help luxury brands engage with diverse audiences by delivering innovative, immersive experiences. In less than three years, Bureau Béatrice has earned a reputation for excellence, working with top tier brands across 48 markets, including Tiffany & Co, Bulgari, Prada, Richard Mille, Swarovski, MAC Cosmetics, L’Oréal, and Formula 1. Earlier this year, the firm was recognized globally for its contribution to the historic opening of Dubai’s One&Only One Za’abeel, an occasion that broke three Guinness World Records.

“The Middle East is an extremely important growth market for the luxury and lifestyle sectors that brands must approach with the right message and guided by local experts,” says Isabelle Chouvet, CEO of The Independents. “Bureau Béatrice’s creativity and innovative approach to transforming stories into unforgettable experiences through a tech approach will deepen our offer in the region, while providing The Independents with a new expertise we can share globally.”

Because of Bureau Béatrice’s experience in live events, creative technology, and multimedia production, The Independents will be able to create a cutting-edge luxury tech hub in the Middle East. “This partnership will propel our global growth, amplifying our vision to create cross-cultural projects that set new standards across the world. Alongside The Independents, we will unlock new opportunities and redefine excellence, driving a new wave of creativity and engagement that resonates on a global scale.” Says Kevin Alderweireldt, co-founder of Bureau Béatrice.

With this acquisition, The Independents expanded their operations to 12 nations and strengthened its position as a world leader in the lifestyle, fashion, and cosmetics industries. With its global network, the group will take Bureau Béatrice’s creative approach to the next level and open doors for ground-breaking luxury projects across the globe.
