Long-awaited by not just gastronomes in Dubai, but foodies all over UAE, the Dubai Food Festival is making a return for its 6th year on Thursday, February 21. Showcasing the region’s diverse culinary scene, the 17-day festival is packed with experiences that let your palette travel the world without having to leave the Emirate. Here’s everything you need to know to get on board:

Beach Canteen
February 21-March 9 

Head to Jumeirah Beach behind Sunset Mall for the signature event of the festival where homegrown and international food concepts come together. Expect food trucks, live music, pop-up shows and family-friendly events. Also on offer is a free yoga class at the fitness section and  “Mommy and Me” workshops.

Dubai Restaurant Week
February 21-March 2

10 days of fine-dining opportunities on a budget await at the Restaurant Week. Take your pick from 21 of Dubai’s finest restaurants serving up Emirati, Levantine and international fare like Morimoto, Zheng He’s and Bleu Blanc for curated multi-course set menus that don’t break the bank.

Hidden Gems

The Dubai Food Festival is asking for your help in deciding the Top 10 Hidden Gems of 2019. Discover 40 shortlisted budget venues offering special menus for the festival and vote for your favorite for a chance to win a cash prize of AED 1,000 and a Zomato Gold membership.

The Street Food Fair
February 28-March 2

Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet and Le BHV Marais at the City Walk are mixing up food and fashion this DFF. With live music and entertainment creating the perfect ambiance, enjoy al-fresco meals as you sample street-food from all around the world and later, spend some coin at the retail stands.

Cheese Festival
February 22-23

Cheese-lovers rejoice – a two-day festival within the DFF is dedicated to all things cheese. At The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina, meet local cheese sellers, attend workshops, learn more about its growing industry in UAE from experts, all while tasting cheese from all around the world.
