After the lockdowns in 2020, this year has offered a respite with prospects of exciting and safe summer travel for many. Jet-setters from the Arab world are making the most of this as they vacation in postcard-worthy destinations and take to Instagram to document it all.
In graphic printed summer dresses and sun hats, Egyptian actor Yasmine Sabri appears to be enjoying a far-flung holiday in Spain’s Canary Islands. The former cover star has shared several photos with her 16 million followers which show her posing oceanside, digging into local cuisine, as well as going on off-road adventures. Also vacationing in Europe in breezy summer ensembles are Emirati blogger Ola Farahat and Iranian-Dutch entrepreneur Negin Mirsalehi. A quick scroll on both their Instagrams will show you the refreshingly blue waters of Italy. Some have also taken this time to visit and appreciate their home countries. Dubai-based presenter Enjy Kiwan of Egyptian origin has opted for a family trip to the North Coast while Moroccan blogger Oumayma Elboumeshouli is visiting Marrakech, and Lebanese entrepreneur Karen Wazen is sojourning in Batroun with her family.
