It’s time to start putting together your edgiest streetwear ensembles because Sole DXB is making a return for 2019. From Thursday, December 5 to Saturday, December 7 at Dubai Design District (D3), the highly-anticipated festival will celebrate the coolest and latest in street culture from the region.
Besides Sole DXB’s signature activations on all things fashion: clothing, footwear, and accessories, festival-goers can expect a lively celebration of the sights and sounds of Jamaica. Genres of music like reggae, Dancehall, and ska will breathe life into the festival which is also known for championing the best of music in the hip-hop scene. Although there’s no news about the music line-up so far, one can only expect it to be as stellar as line-ups from the previous years. Hip-hop fans were treated to some amazing performances by renowned artists such as British grime rapper Skepta in 2016 and American rapper Nas in 2018.
Also, like the previous editions of the festival, the eighth one too is expected to have globally recognized brands such as Nike, Kappa, Reebok, Adidas, and Puma exhibiting. Other activities to look out for at the event include the ‘Sole Ball Above All Classic’, the regions’ most competitive streetball tournament and the ‘Sneaker Swap’, where people will have the opportunity to buy, sell and trade footwear from leading collectors in the region.
Pre-sale tickets to Sole DXB are now available on virginmegastore.me. Weekend passes cost AED295, while individual passes for each day can be purchased for AED245 and weekend passes for AED375 October 22 onwards.
