SLS Dubai is preparing for the second edition of its spectacular Taste of SLS event, which will take place on Friday, October 4, at 7pm.

Following the great success of last year’s premiere, this year’s edition, titled “Sounds Around the World,” promises to transport spectators on a mesmerizing worldwide trip of music, food, and entertainment, all held within the opulent 75-story space. The event will include multiple floors, each taking attendees to a different corner of the world with its own atmosphere, cuisine, and entertainment. One of the night’s highlights will be a special performance by former Black Eyed Peas member, renowned musician and tech entrepreneur will.i.am.

The voyage begins on the bottom level of the SLS Terminal in EllaMia, where a DJ will set the tone with energetic music while guests enjoy pre-flight beverages before departing on their global tour. As guests ascend to the 71st floor’s Sky Lobby, they will be met by the chilly, snowy vistas of Antarctica, complete with a live 120kg bluefin tuna cutting display and violin performances. A serene arctic light will brighten the scene. On level 70, guests will be immersed in the sun-soaked magnificence of southern Italy at Fi’lia, where they can indulge in an Italian feast made by Nonna, Mamma, and Fi’lia herself, which will include classic delicacies like fresh pastas and Filiamisu. Attendees can also enjoy a number of drinks available while listening to live renditions of Italian classics, bringing the splendor of the Italian Riviera to life.
The event will then take visitors to South America on the 74th floor of Smoke & Mirrors, the SLS Dubai’s speakeasy and cigar bar. Visitors can enjoy Latin-inspired food, fine drinks, and live salsa performances. The bright spirit will be maintained with a DJ and drummer, providing a lively and sophisticated setting. On the same floor, guests may also enjoy an Arabian Night experience with belly dancers, a live DJ, and a henna expert. Arabic delicacies will be provided, highlighting the region’s diverse culinary traditions. The evening will culminate with a surprise performance by a Lebanese superstar, who is expected to captivate the audience.

For Business Class guests, the evening continues at Carna, a contemporary steakhouse with a Venetian Carnival atmosphere. Attendees will be served a nose-to-tail feast created by renowned butcher Dario Cecchini, showcasing Italy’s best cuts. The beautiful setting will include a Negroni fountain and handmade bread to complete the decadent experience.
The evening will end in a stunning celebration at Privilege, located on the 75th floor. The rooftop location, which has breathtaking views of Dubai’s skyline, will be turned into a Miami-inspired paradise complete with palm palms, LED lights, and a sophisticated party atmosphere. The night will include thrilling performances, and will.i.am will hit the stage after midnight, ensuring an amazing ending to the event. Taste of SLS promises a memorable evening of world-class entertainment, gastronomy, and sky-high fun, allowing you to experience the world without ever leaving Dubai.
