Congratulations to HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who has welcomed a new grandchild. His daughter, HH Sheikha Latifa Bint Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority announced on social media that she has given birth to a healthy baby girl, named Shaikha bint Faisal AlQassimi.
“We were blessed today with a baby girl, Shaikha bint Faisal AlQassimi,” HH Sheikha Latifa wrote on Instagram, over the weekend. The arrival of her daughter marks the birth of her second child with her husband Sheikh Faisal Saud Khalid Al Qasimi. The couple is also parents to a son, Mohammed bin Faisal, who was born in 2018. Sheikha Latifa and Sheikh Faisal, who belong to the royal family of Ras Al Khaimah, were married in 2016.
Earlier this year, Her Highness’ first-born Mohammed celebrated his second birthday in July and her husband Sheikh Faisal Saud Khalid Al Qasimi took to social media to share heart-warming images of Sheikh Mohammed with his grandson.
HH Sheikha Latifa Bint and Sheikh Faisal received many congratulatory messages from several other royals including her sister Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Women Establishment, who have widely shared the news across social media.
The proud family patriarch, Sheikh Mohammed is often seen spending time with his grandchildren with adorable family images and videos being shared by numerous members of the royal family across social media.
