HH Sheikh Hamdan Has a New Addition to His Family

HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum is the Crown Prince of Dubai, chairman of the Executive Council for Dubai Government, and a well-documented animal lover. Fazza, as he’s become affectionately known to his 7.3 million Instagram followers, is the proud owner of a number of horses, falcons, a rare albino lion named Frosty, a white tiger, Elsa, and a baby pony, named Joy (the name was selected via an Instagram poll, where he urged UAE residents to help him choose a name for the adorable creature), among other animals. And now, it looks like the Crown Prince has added another adorable four-legged creature to his growing list of pets.

On Tuesday, the Crown Prince of Dubai posted a cute picture of a fuzzy, large canine, he wittingly called “Tiny”.

“Say hi to my new puppy,” he wrote alongside an image of Mohammed bin Ahmed Jaber Al Harbi, or “Maj”, the son of the sheikh’s long-time friend Ahmed Jaber Al Harbi, holding up the cute dog, which is presumably a breed of a Central Asian Shepherd or a Maremma Sheepdog. He also posted a little clip of him stroking the canine’s belly.

Indeed, there are few things the royal posts more about on his social media pages than animals. He’s taken to his Instagram account to upload snaps of himself with the likes of giraffes, elephants, and sharks. Who can forget the time he posted a video depicting the rescue of a helpless gazelle on his Instagram Stories?

No doubt, the new pup is going to be well taken care of and loved for years to come.
