Simply titled ‘Thank you,’ the letter is written in both Arabic and English and aims to acknowledge the hardwork, sacrifice and selflessness of frontline workers. “My dear brothers and sisters, the brave heroes at the frontline… In our desperate times, you rose to the challenge,” the Crown Prince begins. “Armed with your selflessness, you’ve redefined the meaning of service and sacrifice. Your courage has built an invincible fortress, protecting our society.”
Having frequently engaged with frontline workers personally, Sheikh Hamdan’s letter lauds them for being “the barrier between us and the pandemic,” and goes on to deem them “today’s finest soldiers.” “We cannot thank you enough for your spirit that protects our nation. Thank you for putting our safety before yours. You have set an example for the heroes to come. Your sacrifice is inspiring, humbling, and a legacy that our history will remember forever,” he adds.
Concluding with a message of hope, the Crown Prince says, “with God’s grace, we will get through these times. And, together, we will emerge stronger and more determined to continue our journey of shaping the future.” He signs off warmly with the words “Your brother, Hamdan Bin Mohammad.”
Past experiences have strongly motivated us to work hard & succeed. We will emerge stronger & more determined than before, and show the world a model of flexibility, and ability to overcome crises and transform challenges into opportunities.
