Always one to share highlights of his life on Instagram, HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, has been documenting his vacation in the United Kingdom for some time now. In his latest post, he can be seen where one would rarely expect a royal to go, the London Underground. However, those who keep up with the Crown Prince would know that his using public transport falls in line with his humble nature, which Dubai residents have experienced firsthand on many occasions.

The now-viral post shows Sheikh Hamdan standing in the middle of a crowded Tube compartment, with his close friend Badr Ateej behind him, both unrecognized by the passengers of the train. “We’ve got a long way to go and Badr is already bored,” quipped the royal in the caption. While no one may have noticed the royal’s presence this time, it is not always that he goes unrecognized, even when away from home. Just last month, a widely shared video saw the royal taking selfies with Dubai residents in London, who had spotted him in his car. The video was posted by a friend and regular travel companion of Sheikh Hamdan, Ahmad Jaber Al Harbi.

Other snippets of his London summer holiday include the royal spending quality time with his one-year-old twins, Shaikha and Rashid. They were also joined on the trip by the Crown Prince’s father, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, and seen together in a heartwarming picture of three generations of the royal family.
