A big congratulations are in order for Shanina Shaik and DJ Ruckus (born Gregory Andrews). The Victoria’s Secret model tied the knot with her long-time partner in an intimate ceremony at the Bahamas over the weekend. The destination wedding, which took place at the island of Eleuthera, was attended by family and close friends, including Lenny Kravitz (who is Andrews’ cousin) and fellow models Nadine Leopold and Hannah Ferguson. The nuptials were followed with a celebratory bash in Miami, that was attended by Bella Hadid and Hailey Baldwin. She later confirmed her marriage by sharing an image of the words “Just Married” on Snapchat.
For the occasion, the model wore a lace, off-the-shoulder, custom Ralph & Russo wedding gown paired with a floor-trailing veil and Aquazzura heels.
Speaking to American Vogue, the bride said “I’m lucky to have a custom dress made by them. I sent inspiration pictures, and Tamara put her twist on it and sketched a few options for me to review. From there, I selected what I liked the best, and we worked together to pick lace as well as a color that I wanted. The whole process took around 8 months, but in the end, we came up with the dress that I have always dreamt off.”

The island of Eleuthera played a significant role in the couple’s love story. It’s where the two got engaged in 2015. A year after Andrews proposed, the Muslim model told W Magazine that she was planning on having a tropical destination wedding. “Somewhere on a beach definitely,” she said.
Speaking to Vogue Italia, she said “I’ve done almost all of my wedding planning myself, which has been quite overwhelming, but also really exciting because it will have so much of Gregory and me in the look and feel. I have a custom dress that is a little bit elegant (and) bohemian because we will be getting married on the beach. I’m incredibly excited for the big day!”

The exotic model, who was born to a Saudi-Pakistani father and a Lithuanian-Australian mother, first hinted that she was getting married just days before her nuptials, when she posted a photo on her Snapchat account of two private jets, which she captioned “His & Hers” with a bride and groom emoji.
