This Arabic Web Series Will Get You Hooked on to Facebook

Uturn Entertainment, the Arab production company behind hit TV shows like Eysh Elly, 3al6ayer, Noon Alniswa, Ana W Heya and Aldor Al3asher is bringing an all-new TV show to Facebook just in time for the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan. The partnership, which is the first of its kind between Uturn and Facebook, will see the newest episodes of their new show Setto 52 aired three days before any other online platforms during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

The show features titular character Setto, a puppet modeled after the quintessential Arab grandmother. She’s raised generations with her ‘doctorate degree’ in the science of human advisory and shares her wealth of knowledge with the audience on her show. Get ready for drama-filled WhatsApp groups, Zodiac predictions and gossip-loving celebrity guests galore.

Setto has friends in high places, so get ready to see them on the show. Celebrity guests reported to join the show include Saudi Arabian designer Nasiba Hafiz and her husband, as well as actor and social media influencer brothers Naif and Nawwaf Al Dhufairi, amongst others. Have your own problems to share with Setto? Viewers will have the opportunity to share their own problems with Setto via Facebook and Instagram Live sessions in the first few weeks after the show’s pilot episode.

Setto 52 is part of Facebook’s newest initiative to increase the presence of quality Arabic content on its platform. Facebook’s social video experience includes Facebook Live, as well as Facebook Watch as a dedicated video platform which showcases a wide variety of content from creators and partners.
