Saudis Share Their #LoveLetterToSaudiArabia With Exclusive Vogue Arabia Postcards

This month, Vogue Arabia is celebrating Saudi Arabia’s natural beauty and the values of renewal and hospitality connected to the use of lavender with its special Saudi issue. To amplify the powerful message that comes with the soothing hue, we asked 10 Saudi brands—Honayda, Youssef Akbar, Raghad Alblaihed, Atelier Hekayat, April by Noura, Aram by Arwa Almmari, Mashael Alfaris, and Kaf by Kaf, Loodyana, and Lurline—to create 10 dresses for 10 supermodels from the Kingdom and beyond, namely Amira Zuhair, Candice Swanepoel, Coco Rocha, Taleedah Tamer, Isabeli Fontana, Sara Sampaio, Shasha Luss, Toni Garrn, Sophie Alshehry, and Donna Bahdon.

Along with the iconic covers that were released to the world on May 30, Vogue Arabia decided to also extend this celebration of the Kingdom and its brimming pot of talent with one more initiative: ‘Love Letter to Saudi Arabia’.

Keeping the palette of the month in mind, we crafted a series of one-of-a-kind, exclusive postcard-style Vogue covers, each customized to feature a different Saudi national. From creative favorites like Lulwah Al Homoud, Amy Roko, Haya Akhdar, and Manal Aldowayan, to Saudi rower Husein Alireza, and royals HH Princess Noura bint Faisal Al Saud and HRH Princess Reema bint Bandar Al Saud, you’ll find some of your favorite faces from the Kingdom smiling proudly from one of our limited edition lavender postcards. Also on the list? Aram Kabbani, Aseel Al Hamad, Rawan Kattoa, Nojoud Alrumaihi, Hessa Alajaji, Mohannad Bakheet, and many more.

For a personal element, each individual will share their special artwork on Instagram with a heartfelt #LoveLetterToSaudiArabia in their caption. The aim? To share all the elements, big and small, that make the beautiful kingdom so very special not just in the middle east, but also beyond.
